Free CPR training and dinner

Project HeartSafe at MIT, a sub-group of MIT Emergency Medical Services dedicated to promoting CPR training campus-wide to reduce the incidence of preventable death due to cardiac arrest, held a CPR training event in Edgerton House on Monday November 20th. They covered when to give CPR, how to give high quality CPR, how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and how to recognize the signs of a stroke. The students greatly enjoyed the free dinner and the possibly life saving information. For more information contact them at heartsafe@ems.mit.edu. A special thanks to Adedoyin Olateru-Olagbegi and Anjali Misra the MIT EMS HeartSafe Co-Officers and local Edgerton resident and EMT Lawrence Wong.
