Kayaking Outing
8.17.21 – Edgerton went on a Charles River kayaking trip! We all got a bit wetter than expected (mmm – tasty river water) – but are still smiling under the damp masks! 🙂 Shout out to Arash and Yunsie for the wonderful photos!

Edgerton residents kicked off the first week in May by planting the community garden! We also had a wheelbarrow of snacks to fuel us. We discovered some baby bunnies had already made a home in one of the planters (so we opted to leave that one undisturbed)! The other planters are filled with herbs, eggplant, tomatoes, squash, strawberries, and misc flowers. Can’t wait until we can start harvesting what we have planted!
Edgerton residents munch on pizza while they learn how to stay safe at MIT.
Shoutouts to the always wonderful Albert for not only gracing Edgerton with his wonderful homemade banana and chocolate pancakes, but also keeping the gym in great condition for the past year. He did what any resident of Edgerton House is welcome to do. He submitted a proposal for 7-by-7 funding here.
Shout outs to the several groups of residents that used the 7-by-7 funding before the end of 2018! Great celebrations, parties, and aquarium trips happened. Special congratulations to Jerry Wang on his PhD Defense!
As always, any resident of Edgerton House is welcome to submit a proposal for 7-by-7 funding here and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. Feel free to email jerryng@mit.edu or pjadrian@mit.edu for more information!
Edgerton students are visited by MIT Police for a safety talk. Topics covered include bike safety, sexual assault, what to do during an active shooting, and tips to stay safe at night in Boston.
