Valentines Day Chocolate Making

There’s no gift more sincere for Valentine’s day than homemade chocolates. Come join us for a fun chocolate making and movie watching event in Edgerton on Sunday, February 9th, from 2-6 pm! We will be making chocolate truffles from melted chocolate bars shaped into creative forms. While waiting for the chocolate to harden, we will also be screening a movie. Light refreshments will be provided, including a small chocolate fountain! Main ingredients will be provided: chocolate bars (white, semi-sweet and dark), cream and butter, crushed nuts and cocoa powder. One fun thing about making chocolate truffles is that they are customizable, so feel free to bring any special flavoring, ingredient or mold to personalize your chocolates as well. Some examples are Baileys white chocolate truffles with coconut flakes, dark chocolate hazelnut pralines, etc.

Please bring your own containers to take the truffles home with you, and bring whisks and metal bowls/pots if you have them. Interested participants are encouraged to RSVP here so that we can ensure that we have enough chocolate for everyone.
