Transfer Lottery, 2007

The Edgerton Student Advisory Board (SAB) is running the Edgerton Transfer Lottery this May. The transfer lottery allows residents who are guaranteed Fall-housing at Edgerton to switch rooms within Edgerton.

NOTE: Please do not confuse the Edgerton Transfer Lottery with the Graduate Housing Assignment Process. You CANNOT participate in the former if you participate in the latter.

To determine whether you are eligible to participate, and for some further details, consult this Transfer Lottery cheat sheet. If you have questions about your housing status, email Sandy Lugo at graduatehousing at mit dot edu.

Allocations in the lottery will be based on resident choices, and seniority points. Residents apply for transferring to apartments in groups. The total number of seniority points for each group is considered while making allocations. See the Transfer Lottery Rules for more details.

New for Fall 2007: Edgerton will grant requests for coed apartment-mates, in 2-bedroom apartments only. See the Coed Apartment-mates FAQ.

A list of all available rooms can be found in this Available Rooms Spreadsheet. Rooms that may be freed up by the transfer lottery or that first year residents will remain in if they obtain continuing-student status are noted.
