Got Stuff?
Need to get rid of your old sofa or some shelving before you move?
Looking for a coffee table to fill out your living room?
Cleaning out the apartment and found two blenders and an asparagus cooker you have no use for?
Just arrived at MIT and eating on the floor because you have no furniture?
Take heart, stuff-challenged students: help is on the way!
Whether you are moving out, moving in, or just cleaning up, the annual Edgerton Brunch and Yard Sale is the place to be. On Saturday, August 5th, starting at 11 am, bring things to sell or money to buy to the Edgerton Courtyard. The sale will be advertised across campus, so there will be plenty of people selling and plenty of people to buy stuff! Brunch will be served starting at 11am and lasting until we run out of food. Tables will be provided, or bring an old blanket and sell off the grass. Trying to sell a sofa or other item too large to bring? Bring a photograph with your contact info to hang on the Furniture Board instead. All members of the MIT community are welcome to buy AND sell items. This is a great way to furnish your apartment or get rid of unwanted stuff before the school year begins, and it's right in your backyard!
